ALL3MEDIA ANNOUNCES ACQUISTION OF MAVERICK TV
All3Media announced today that Maverick Television,
one of Britain's leading regionally based TV production companies
has joined the Group.
Maverick
TV, based in Birmingham and London, was founded in 1993 by
Jonnie Turpie and has established a very strong reputation
for provocative, challenging and exciting TV programmes.
Maverick
TV currently has two peak time series in C4's Top 10; "How
to Look Good Naked" and "Embarrassing Illnesses". Credits
for 2007 have included The Madness of Modern Families for
BBC Two, Directors Debut for BBC One and Half The Dog Is Mine
for the BBC's One Life strand. They are currently producing
the fourth series of the hugely successful "10 Years Younger"
series for C4. They have recently expanded into Drama with
a number of current projects in development.
Maverick
TV is also recognised as one of Britain's leading producers
in Digital Media. Its award winning and rapidly expanding
New Media department recently won the 4Homes site for Channel
4, alongside their long established track record in educational
Media.
