ALL3MEDIA announces Permira has become its New Majority Shareholder.

The Board of ALL3MEDIA announced today that the Permira Funds and the ALL3MEDIA management team have acquired ALL3MEDIA in a transaction that values the group at approximately £320million on an enterprise basis. The acquisition represents a full exit for Bridgepoint.

As continuing major shareholders in the Group, the current management team including Steve Morrison, Jules Burns, David Liddiment and John Pfeil, are fully committed to taking the Group forward in its next phase of growth.

Since its inception in 2003, ALL3MEDIA has grown to become the leader in the UK Independent TV production sector, having formed a group that includes some of the most creative talent and leading programme brands in the market such as Midsomer Murders, Shameless, Hollyoaks, Richard & Judy, Formula One and the newly announced Castaway II.

Permira is backing the group's existing strategy, which is to grow organically by supporting the tremendous talent pool that ALL3MEDIA has developed, and by continuing to make acquisitions of companies whose management and talent see ALL3MEDIA as a group which can help them to realise their full potential.

Commenting on the acquisition, Steve Morrison, Chief Executive of ALL3MEDIA, said:

Commenting on the deal, Michael Black, Partner at Bridgepoint said:
