All3Media America and Cinetic Media today announced the establishment of an original content development fund. The two businesses will come together to create premium film and television content through investment in IP and collaboration with elite filmmakers. The partnership will leverage both All3Media America’s leading development and production expertise with Cinetic’s expansive access to project IP and its talent roster. The fund will enable the partners to contribute their complementary areas of specialty to focus on premium storytelling for a wide array of global platforms and audiences.

Cinetic Media, a market leader in independent film led by John Sloss, has enjoyed recent high profile successes in feature and documentary work over the last year, most notably as the financing architects and executive producers of Best Picture Academy Award-winner Green Book and by playing a role in three of the five Oscar-nominated documentaries in 2018, including 2019 Best Documentary Academy Award-winner Free Solo. Other notable company successes include Amy, Boyhood and Little Miss Sunshine. The company will contribute its broad expertise in entertainment financing, film sales, strategic advisory services and talent management and packaging to the partnership.

The All3Media America team will contribute its substantial television experience developing and producing popular and Emmy Award-winning hits including United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell (CNN), as well as content financing and distribution through All3Media International and significant global impact through its British parent company All3Media. All3Media houses the production companies behind titles ranging from the multiple Emmy Award-winning hit TV series Fleabag (BBC/Amazon) to the upcoming Catherine the Great (SKY/HBO).

“Over nearly two decades, Cinetic Media has specialized in ensuring the right combination of factors are in place to get powerful and entertaining content made and distributed,” said John Sloss, principal/founder of Cinetic Media. “Our partnership with All3Media America gives us access to development and producing, which are new and exciting areas consistent with our mandate as a service company built around providing the broadest number of tools to empower elite creative talent.”
