The four seasons are explored through the produce grown in Raymond’s new kitchen garden at Kew looked after by gardeners Joe Archer and Alice Lumb.

This plot once grew fruit and veg for the British royal family and the endearing Michelin-starred chef is on a mission to produce delicious dishes fit for a monarch!

Kate meanwhile, explores the history of these foodstuffs, from the origin of British grown garlic in the Isle of Wight, to the long history of gooseberry shows in the north.

Set against a delightful and iconic backdrop, Kew On A Plate serves up both mouthwatering recipes and some fascinating stories we never knew about Britain’s best-loved fruit and veg.
